I'm with Krisb, looks like 54-40 to me. Put a square in the center of each block, set it on point, use half blocks for the edge. Diamonds in borders are easily drawn up in EQ.

I used 54-40 blocks from EQ:

Pecking, nice drawing. Can you draw it up in EQ with the V block (similar to 2 HRT) being 3:1 ratio, not 2:1. I think it looks even prettier in 3:1 and that’s what I think it looks like. Saw an example on EBay. I will try to post.

    What is "the V block"?

Make the "legs" longer. Instead of it being a 9 patch were all are 3x3, make the center square in a square to be 3x3.
The V would be 4x3 and the outer background corner squares would be 4x4. Or you could go longer to get a different look.

I think too that it is Storm at Sea with the blocks turned so the center square looks 'on point'.

To me, the star points look too long and skinny to be Storm at Sea.

Very Pretty quilt!! It may have to be on my short bucket list.

I agree with Jennifer23 - the original link appears to have longer points than the typical 54-40 or 9 patch star. I even looked at the Storm at Sea block in EQ and when I looked at the cutting directions for it, it appears to have shorter points relatively speaking than the quilt in question as well (points 3" long to a 3" center).

I think Prism is dead spot on with the Pineapple Star Block.
