    I made several of them last year for gifts......no problem matching....your seam allowances must be a bit off.....oh, and I did NOT have to starch....

    Default Stiffening for quilt fabric

    I prewash and dry all my quilt yardage by machine, then iron with Magic Sizing Extra Crisp (Green Label). Fabric is perfect for cutting. Starch contains flour and will attract insects if the quilt is stored for extended time.

    It sounds a little more complicated than I would like, so I may pass on this one, even though I rreally like it. I am not in the mood to have to change a pattern.
