Default Clover hand quilting needles

Has anyone used these? I googled and saw prices from $3/pkg to $33/pkg. Does anyone know what the difference is?

i have never used them, so can't help you. I do think needles are something you need to "try out" and decide. I used to use John James needles and while I do like them, I came across a brand cld Jeana Kimball's Foxglove Cottage. They are a between/quilting needle. I found them at a local quilt store. The shank of the needle is "thicker"/"heavier" - something, the seem to be sturdier and don't break as easily as others that I have used.

Clover has MANY styles of hand quilting needles that may be what the cost difference reflects.
I particularly like the gold tipped ones, for instance, as they are easier for my eyes to see to thread.

I've mentioned this somewhere else on this board, which I cannot remember where exactly, but I absolutely love love love Clovers "Black Gold" No.10 quilting needles. The ones I buy come in a 6 needle per pack package and cost about $5.00 to $6.00 per pack.

I don't know which ones would cost $33.00. Maybe a case of them?

I've not been happy with the clover needles I've tried in the past. Don't remember specifically which type they were though. My favorite is Roxanne betweens either #11 or #12.
