    Total paid was $ 458.68
    all fabric
    In and out in 2-hours.
    this usually takes alot longer.

I WAS SO surprised at the amount of time.
Most of that was at cutting table.
First thing I did when getting into store was to grab a cutting number then go shopping. Cuts down on wait time.
I also bought a lot of sealed bolts so they only had to scan and NOT roll out and measure. ;) ;) ;)
Two great ideas: cutting number and sealed bolts! You rock.
Blessings on you and your projects. and the recipients too.

OK, you made me go look at my mile long Joanns receipt to see how I fared. I didn't spend as much as you did - only $43.29, but my savings was $137.07. That's pretty significant.

I have to add though, I shopped for fabric in 3 different stores today so overall I did spend a tad more than a paltry $43!!

Well, there are always good deals at Joanns...I went to our store and there was about 7 people in there and 6 people cutting but no line...how great is that....I walked out with about $300.00 worth of sewing things for $125.00. I was so excited and it didnt take me but 1/2hr to shop cause I knew just what I wanted.

I was actually grateful for the long check out line because I met the sweetest lady who was making things for her new little grandbaby. Boy was she excited about that baby. She made my day!

We were in and out of our JoAnns in less than a half hour and saved over $700. I buy flannel by the bolt for backs so don't have to stand in a cutting line. Price for quilt batts is fantastic! Happy sewing!
