Do you enjoy making the Quilt As You Go Quilts (QAYG)

I think I'm going to try doing my next QFK's quilt as a QAYG. I really hate to push my full quilts through my machine.
I may even have to break down and buy a pattern. I really like the look of the Fun and Done patterns. I've tried printing the photos and trying to figure out on my own, but honestly sometimes it's just easier to buy the pattern.
I justify it saying I'm supporting the quilting community by buying patterns.

I have made 3 quilts. the reason is that it is easier for me to quilt small pieces then join them together. I only have a Janome6600P and I seem to have trouble trying to quilt a big one all together.
