I was looking at some Double Wedding Ring templates on Ebay and they range in price from around $6 to $40. I have noticed the less expensive ones say "Not for use with rotary cutter" and the more expensive ones don't say that. Is it the quality of the template that dictates the price? Here's what I'm looking at.....http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=dou....c0.m270.l1313

The less expensive is made from cardboard; no wonder it says not to use with rotary cutting! The others are acrylic. To answer your question, then it is the quality of the template.

Have you tried paper-piecing? McCalls.com/quilting has a free pattern than you can download. This is my choice when making a DWR. All of the templates are included.

I just learned to paper piece but I think I could do it. I'll check out the site you gave me. Thank you for answering my question.

If you can paper piece one, do it. Using templates is very tedious. I pieced one with templates years ago before there were very many paper piecing patterns.
