Good Evening Every1,
I hope that all is well with you & your families. I have a dumb question. I was always told that there are no such things as a dumb questions. So here it goes..... What is a Shop Hop :?: :?: I have read quite a few threads and have NO IDEA what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You go from LQS to LQS, usually you get some kind of a prize/gift for going to so many in a specified time frame. Often they have drawings for prizes at the end, too.
There are also online ones, like the bunny shop hop, they are giving away prizes at the end, and you can collect free quilt block patterns along the way :D:D:D

Several LQS's will plan a shop hop for a weekend or over the course of a few days. Quilters are encouraged to visit each shop where there may be specials, demonstrations and free draws. Our shops give each quilter a small piece of fabric to complete a special block which are then assembled for a special charity. It's a chance to see what is new, visit with the store staff and other quilters and maybe win a prize while shopping.

In Western Washington, the Quilt Shop Hop it is a several day event and some fabric companies even design special fabric for the event. It covers the state from the Canadian border to the Oregon border. Each LQS (snd there are about 50 that participate) designs a block with some of the fabrics and the block and some of the fabric are handed out. There is a passport that gets stamped at every shop and then turned in for a drawing.
