In the past I have used different containers for different prices, i.e., all $1.00 items in a box marked $1.00, etc.

I have no better suggestions than the many offered. I'm just cantankerous that I can't come to your sale! :)

Because you folks live in a more humid climate, I would not use pins or staples. Many people don't take them out immediately and any type of humidity will rust them. If they remain in fabric it could ruin the fabric where it might have been touching. You could also use index cards and use a larger needle with long piece of crochet thread or string, then use needle to pearce fabric & card in the selvage area - cut crochet tread and tie tag on, then go to next piece. That way the tag won't fall off - no metal and can't be removed until tag is cut off. Can stick original sticker on tag. Win-win for everybody and relatively quick.

get those little tags with string on them and pin the tag to the fabric with little safety pins.
