    Default Help Me Finish This

I started this landscape wall hanging in 2003 and it has been waiting a long time to get done. It's 23 x 31 inches. I was thinking of putting a silhouette of a tree, but I'm not sure. I need some inspiration. How would you get this completed?

A silhouette of a tree would be a perfect edition to this. I say go for it!

I like the silhouette of a tree idea, too.

I love trees but you might add a small cloud in the dark blue also. It would give it some depth.

I think it depends where your landscape is from - either a landscape with lots of trees, or a landscape with none, or very few small wind bent trees. To me, your landscape seems to be island based e.g. Shetland, Orkney or similar, where there are very few trees, and those that are there are very small and scrubby.
I like your picture as it is, but it is up to you what you want to do.

It's wonderful whatever you do to it ... or nothing more at all.

Lovely landscape but a point of interest would draw the eye in. I might do a tiny house in the valley with a wisp of smoke from the chimney.

What is your finished size target? Do you want a wall hanging or a queen sized quilt??

I'd add some fancy quilting and call it done.
