Random arrangement gives neither x's nor o's that are discernable as such. I kind of like random all x's.

I would keep them matched like in the first pic otherwise the look of X's and O's gets lost. Sure do like the pink, grey and white combo. Post it when you're done -- anxious to see it finished.

Love the colors!! I, too, like the first one. IMHO, I think balancing the placement of lights, mediums and darks would be good. Hope to see picutures of the finished quilt.

I like the first one best.....all of the others, you lose the concept of the X's and O's idea because they all run together. I found that the first one keeps your interest and shows the difference between the X & O. First one is BEST, this is a WINNER. Looks really classy. Good luck on making your decision
