    Lightbulb How wide the Border?

    Hi All,
I need some advice if I should continue the 1 inch (black)sashing for the border, or go with a wider (black) border. I think the Bindingwill be the same as the block sizingmaterial.

Mike, do you have a picture of the quilt you could show us?

I would make the border wider, not sure, probably 2/12" unfinished.

I'd do a one inch black border to match the sashing. Another wider border, possibly in one of the colors of the background fabric, could be added if you want to make the quilt a bit larger. Otherwise, I'd just add the black border and binding. Nice quilt BTW.

Have to echo the suggestion here. If you are happy with the size, stick with the narrow black border.

I would continue the narrow sashing to surround the entire center, add a narrow stop border in possibly the purple patterned background fabric, then a wider black border with purple background fabric binding.

    Thank you all,
I am going to us the 1 inch sashing fabric strips for the border.
I will use he background fabric for the binding.
But for the backing, I think maybe Minkie.
    Thanks for the input.

I would add a wide (your choice of what that means 3 or 4 or 6?) black border to frame all the logos and bright shashing. You now have my 2 cents.
