dito....make for sure you can drive to check it out. To many scams going on....also may want to Google to see what other consumers think. I know several unhappy quilters that have trouble with theirs and trying to find a dealer that will service them....

I have a Diamond and love it, However, I bought it when it fisrt csame out and paid 9K+ for it. My friend bought one at a LQS truck sale and paid 5K about a year ago. They have some problems so I would want to know when it was purchased and what LQS will service it. I had to have mine completely replaced after 9 months of BUGS and so did my friend. With that said I LOVE my Diamond! That is a very low price. If it is a good one, what a deal, if it is a lemon, well you will have months of problems. Good Luck

I don't know anything about that Husqvarna but in 2005 I bought a demonstrater Quilt designer II that came with an embroidery arm and hoops for $2600 at the Jo-Anns store in Mentor, Ohio. I love it. It does everything I want for embroidery and quilting but the D-cards are a little expensive.

I just got a demo and a quote when they first came out. I would imagine the dealer is selling them about for the same price now as then. The post is about an asking price that is about 10% of the retail price.
