You could add another border on each side , would be the quickest way.

I would add more blocks to that pattern.

If it is a certain layout of the blocks you may need an exact # of blocks per row across and also for the rows going down,
do you follow? Seeing picture first would be the safest way to
    answer your question.

    Good Luck

I like your choice of pattern. It would be fun to make a border of small blocks and an additional dark blue border all the way around. Just to confuse you more: Are you planning to turn the top over the pillows or make separate shams? That would change how I added as well. Good Luck can't wait to see the finished quilt. As always remember it is YOUR quilt so have fun designing and playing around with your ideas.

If you don't want to add more blocks, make a piano key border and then a plain border, or even two. Odd sized look best, as in 1.5 inches, or 3 inches etc. I have used 2 inch borders before but for some reason the odd numbers are more pleasing to the eye. Whatever you choose, you are the artist, and it will be beautiful! Michelle

The last top border could be made smaller or not used at all so the side and bottom borders could be made the same. After all, the top border is up by the pillows and not as visible.

Can you simply make each block a bit larger? Would simplify having to create extra borders.

Add a border, or a strip of applique down one side. Make a piano key edge. This gives you lots of possibilities for genius!
