Default I give him an A for effort

My dear hubby ... such a gem!!!

I bought a new (used) long arm this weekend. http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...e-t231290.html. We only had time to pick it up and drop it off to our shop on Sunday then we had other items on our agenda. Hubby knows how I'm itching to get it set up and play (practice) with it. He also knows I'm tied up every evening until Friday.

So the dear decided he would go ahead and set the frame up for me. He tried. He really did. Then he called and told me (he texted me a photo), and asked "did it come with an extra pole?".

Hee hee ... it's the 2nd rail for the head carriage that he missed. Think I'll need that

Lol my husband did the same thing when I got a new (used) Hinty frame. He thought it was simple enough he didn't need to read the instructions. Couldn't figure out what the ratchet wheels were for, so he just left them in the box.
