Default Ideas for this rose pattern

Anyone do a quilt with this paper-pieced rose pattern? Looking for some color combo ideas and would love to see what others have done with this pattern. Thanks!

Do you have a photo ... or the link to the pattern?

Very pretty but a lot of pieces! I think I would do one with good contrast between the colours so you can see the spiral. As you can see the red one is barely noticeable.

yes, she has great patterns. I looked around net for other samples from those that used her pattern and linked to the one I did because she referenced whose pattern it was. I have had my eye on her owl patterns, especially after I pieced an alternative one and not a good substitute for here.

I like her patterns too. I want to try the rose next.

I used the Twisting Entwined Heart on a memorial quilt. I used some of the deceased's clothing with the wife's. She absolutely loved it.

I googled "Twisted Entwined Heart Quilt block" to check on what you did; but so many different things came up! What a beautiful idea for a gift for a grieving heart!

I think a "row along", if that is what it is called, of her designs would be fun to do with others. Ie., 9-10 rows where every other row was blocks of one pattern or theme (all her owls). The opposite rows smaller, common designs. At the end all post how they arranged their block rows and all ooh and aah. (I can't seem to get enough of the pics posted around here!) Samples of what I mean when I say, "row along"; not real up to speed on all the quilting verbiage.) http://www.pinterest.com/nese0114/quilts-row-by-row/

i'm sorry, I misspoke the name. It's "Twisting Spiral Heart" from Piece By Numbers etsy shop.
