Question invisible thread in long arm machine?

    Can you use it?
Anyone have experience using it in their long arm machine?
    What's a good brand?
    Thanks in advance.

(I want to use it in the top only)

I have used it. I only use it in the top.

I have used Superior Monopoly http://www.superiorthreads.com/shop/...brand=MonoPoly

And I have used Filtec Essence
    http://www.bobbincentral.com/embroid...d/essence.html

Both products I used clear, not smoke and only from the big cones. Both require a thread "sock" on the cone to keep it from unraveling too fast. Both products came with the thread sock.

I had to loosen the top tension quite a bit.

On both products I used a prefilled magnaglide in the bobbin. Both products I used to do ditch work. I have ditched both piecing and applique with it. I have not used it for fill work.

I have used it many times...... I use Whisper and have used both the clear and the smoke. I also use the net stocking over the spool to slow the unwinding down as it threads thru. I have used both bottom line or the so fine for the bottom thread with it. tQUOTE=Ms Grace;7142027]Can you use it?

I have used it in my Tin Lizzie 18" successfully for one quilt, but did have to reduce the tension - a lot. Had the devil of a time putting it back to rights, but if necessary would probably do it again.
