    Greetings!

I hope to be joinging the virtual quilting bee! I just finished the hand quilting of a throw-size quilt last night and would like to get the binding done today. We are going camping tomorrow, and I would like to finish the quilt before we go.

Good luck with your goals everyone!

I plan to embroider a label for my nephew's quilt that I made with my mother. And start a lap quilt for DGD. First time able to join in on VQD, thanks for the invitation.

I hope to finish the quilting on this one that I am making as a donation quilt for the local zoo for their silent auction fundraiser in October. I got an early start on it just to make sure it would be done in time! Besides that, when I saw the animal fabric (the animal this year is the lion) and the other fabrics that coordinated, it just all came together and seemed right! Enjoy you virtual quilting day and keep on sewing!

After some housecleaning and laundry will be finishing my first ever twister quilt while watching the baseball game on TV. Go Cubs. My favorite two things. Also have to practice on my new HQ Sweet Sixteen. Dedicated to one hour of practice a day.

I love that quilt!! I am getting a late start because I was up till 3 am working on hand quilting a graduation gift...That is my major plan for today--to get as much done as possible on the quilting, so I have time to get it shipped in time! I guess in all actuality, anything last night afte midnight counted as today!!- maybe I got an early start!!
Good luck all in gettting things done!!

I lugged everything out of my sewing room Saturday morning for the painter to come in. It is now all fresh and clean and I'm spending the morning trying to put it all back together, and getting it organized. Next up, want to get a new light fixture to give me plenty of overhead lighting. May actually have time to get some sewing in this afternoon.
