Question A magazine useful for learning about an Embellishing machine

Hiya Ladies, can you help me please, I have bought a Janome embellishing machine, on a whim as I do Now what I need to do is to get some ideas on using it, have any of you a suggestion for a magazine that would help. I did buy a book called "The Embellisher - let's get started" but is was a very poor buy and didn't help at all

Check out Landauer Publishing. I think that I saw a book about embellishing fabric. Not sure if it would pertain to the actual embellishing machine but might be worth a look.

Is this the same as an embroidery machine? If not, what is it?

You may try YouTube. I seem to find information on almost everything there. I have this little machine. I have only played with it but have decided that this is the year that I am determined to use all my "toys". I constantly take classes and hands on clinics at local sewing machine and craft stores. I meet new people with varied skills. I am enjoying the new ideas and people I meet. You may even try yahoo to see if there is a group there.

I go to YouTube a lot. If you find a video you like you can bookmark it/add to favorites.

Also check out the Janome website - they may have some project there. It's funny but most everyone I know forgets about the machine websites - they all have lots of projects, instructions, etc. You don't even (in most cases) have to have that brand of machine, just one that will do what it needs to for that specific project. I have a Bernina and I try to go out to the Bernina USA website and have sent others there. I also go out to the other machine websites to browse for projects. Notice I say browse - I am a browser and saver much more than a doer!
