A narrow white border followed by a border in colours matching the pineapple blocks.

I would do an inside border with a very light fabric since that will make the blocks looks like they are floating and then select a darker fabric for a 3" or so outside border. I am sure she will enjoying this gift.

Very beautiful. If I were to finish this I would not separate those blocks - I always love secondary patterns and there is a nice one going on. Then I would put a dark flange and bind it with the same fabric as your center squares. Regardless what you do, it is beautiful.

    Agree with this.
I like the pineapple blocks...such pretty colors.
Aqua is one of my favorite colors. I bet her kitchen will look awesome.

I would use light gray for a narrow border and the green for the binding.

Your blocks are beautiful! I love the color choices - they work so well together. I would use a narrow inner border of white and then choose one of the other fabrics for the outer border.

i think this would work nicely. Like the 3/4" inner border.

bTW, I love your pineapples and choice of color. I did some using Alex anderson's book and it was fun.

I would bind it "as is" with one of the darker blues. It is beautiful so far!

Thank you all SO MUCH for your wonderful, helpful suggestions.

    I considered each one & I have a plan.

I am going to add a little flange.

I'm trying to add a photo but it's not letting me. Sorry.
I'll go back to my original post & see if it will let me there ... otherwise
you'll have to wait 'til I have the runner completed.

    Thanks again!
