what colors to get to go with this fabric. It's one of those I found and just had to get I want to make a quilt to send in wilth the Downy quilt. course I only got a yard so I can't use it for backing although I will try tomorrow to see if they have anymore. I was thinking just get some stripes or plaids or something with the green and maybe some browns but not too much. going to use a simple block pattern maybe a 4patch square alternating with the monkey fabric

I love monkey fabric. My next project is a Moda Goodnight Monkey lap quilt. Where did you get the fabric? I want some!

How about brown with white polka dots?

So much of the monkey fabric seemed boyish that I thought this one (I got that fabric, too, it's so cute) could be mixed with a pink something and be for a little girl.

Maybe brown with white polkadots and white with black polkadots for your four square? That might bring the monkeys out more using colors from his body. I do love the monkeys... so cute.
