    Hello ladies and gentlemen

I have a Singer CG550, and I am no longer able to make it do a zig zag stitch. What I really need is either a copy of an owner's manual, or a copy of a service manual or anything that might help me.

Is there anyone who can help me at all with this? Any suggestions?
    Thank you,
    TreeFrog

You can probably download a free one from Singer. Here's the site:

I found a manual for sale at http://www.sewingpartsdirect.com/ins...ger-cg550.aspx

All I did was type "singer cg550 instruction manual" into the google search engine, and many listings appeared. You may find a better deal (perhaps even a freebie directly from Singer?) if you scroll down farther than I did.

    I hope this helps!

I needed a manual for an industrial singer, went to singer site and got one free.

    Hello everyone who replied

Thank you for your suggestions, and words of encouragement! I am now at both sites that were listed for me and hopefully this will help me out as I CANNOT afford a new machine! I hope that it is just a cleaning or something simple like that!
