Need new sewing machine=which one?
#122
Hi!
I purchased a Brother QC1000 last spring at a Paducah, Ky. quilt show. It was about $2,000.00. I also got a complimentary Brother Project Runaway embroidery/sewing machine with it. I love both of them.

I have a Bernina 435 QE which is like the 440QE except it has the wider slot. I absolutely love it. I had a lot of misgivings, but am glad I did it. I understand the 830 has more room for quilting with the wider space between the head and the needle. I don't know much else about them. Anyway, mine is fabulous. Good luck!

I bought a Brother online and never liked it. I needed the dealer support and the classes. My Bernina 440QE is so great. I took the classes twice (free) and it makes such a difference. I love the stitch regulater.

[quote=sewcrafty]As stated before, I'm also in the market. Spoke with a Husqvarna dealer today. Does anyone own one? What's your experience with them?[/quote
Take a look at my post on page 2 of this thread. I am on my second Husqvarna Viking and I love it. I am sold on the quality and reliability of these machines.
