I'm 77 and I love it! I don't think age has anything to do with it. It looks like a warm, snuggly quilt to me and I would love to get it. But then I'm not a HGTV decorator and your aunt may be. froggyintexas

I'm 73 and love the colors. I'd like to see a purple border to make it sophisticated, but the dark blue would make me happy too. Don't dwell on the pink, yeah it is a girly color; but that is all in the way it has been presented to us for years.

She told you what colors she liked & I think she will love the quilt you made for her in those colors. I, too, am over 60 & would be tickled to get this quilt. I would add a purple border to it & gift it to her. I bet she will love it. Not only the colors, but because you made it special for her.

I think your quilt is great! You are probably just tired of it and feel that the quilt is not want you envisioned.

I don't think it looks too juvenile for your aunt, however, if these are not her favorite colors, then make another.

You could send her a picture of the quilt saying you saw this quilt and it just happened to be "her colors" and ask what she thought about it.
