I pour all of my feelings into a quilt when I am angry, hurt, etc. I make sure that I only hand quilt though because sometimes its not a good idea to have sharp things in my hands! Most definately a way to restore my balance and I believe this is something that a lot of quilters have always done!! He is just immature to post things and lie like that. He obviously isn't worth the anger as it takes too much energy, just try to find peace within yourself. We are all here for you!! :)

The last time I quilted and did a rotary cut when I was angry, I found myself BOTH with a messed up block and a chunk of skin and nail from my right thumb at the fingertip missing. It has since healed, but has a bit of residual crater at that spot.Yup, I soooooo don't quilt when I'm very angry with someone. If I catch it, I stop at that moment.

I fondle fabric to feel better. I would hurt myself accidentally if I had sharp things in my hand when I am upset or angry.

I use quilting/sewing time as my meditation time. Calms my mind & helps me feel better. :)

I take to my bed with the kleenex box. Boon going through a lot of that with our oldest son this past seven months. Seems like an eternity. I can't quilt right now, anyway, because of my neck surgery. Looking down is not very pleasant yet.
