Default On a scale of 1-3, how serious are you? JUST FOR FUN!

I belong to other forums, and I think some are so much more serious than this one. This board is is more relax if I may give my opinion. I don't think there are many quilt police here. So I thought on a scale of 1-3, maybe we can see if I am right.

    1. very serious, no mistakes allowed

    2. Like to do the best I can on quilting but I can live with a mistake or two

    3. whatever, I can't find the floor but I found enough scraps to start a quilt.

I'm a 2 sometimes, 3 a lot of the time. Never a 1. A pattern is just a pretty picture of what it could be if I followed the directions. But I'll probably change it. I appique over obvious mistakes. And I always tell people who like to say I've made a mistake "It's not a mistake, I meant for it to be that way. It's called a design element."

A design element, I got to remember that one! I like to think I am a 2 but I know for sure I am not a 1.

I'm a 2. I don't think anything I make comes out like the original plan.

I'm a 1, possibly a 2 if I'm learning something totally new to me, but those never go any further than the studio door. Never a 3. I don't judge others, just me, and I don't think striving for excellence makes anyone the "quilt police".
