I have a 1/2 in. one -- didn't much care for it because it kept slipping. Am going to try those little stick on things that keep your rulers from slipping.

Someone mentioned having trouble keeping track of where they are supposed to cut. Have you tried the wonderful blue painters tape for a quick and removable marker? I use that on all my rulers. It zips right off after the project is done. I also use it for marking straight lines when I'm quilting, goes on fast and comes off just as fast. Also can be moved/reused on fabric.

They work, but you will need to apply a good amount of pressure also or they may slip, which may be your problem when cutting. WHen I have had problems, I amke sure to mark the place on my ruler that I need to line up, with tapes that are made for that purpose or regular masking tape will work. Then make sure you are applyihng enough pressure with the ruler had to keep the ruler from shifting. Even a little bit will throw you off. Also make sure you are using the rotary cutter right. It needs to be held so the blade is at a 45 degree angle to the mat and fabric.

I have them and I love them. They don't come in 1/8" slots though, unless they recently came out and I haven't seem them yet. Saves so much time and they are so accurate. Well worth it. Wait until JoAnn's has a 50% off coupon - they aren't cheap.

I bought this one and I really do like it. It works better than I thought it would. Very accurate.

It is amazing how fast your cutting is with this ruler. I mostly use it after I have cut and sewn strips, and then need to subcut.

I have the inch, half-inch, quarter-inch, eigth-inch, and five-eight inch! I, too, am cutting challenged!! I love all my June Tailor rulers. I also bought several strip cutters from a lady on the QB and like them as well. I think my vision plays a part in trying to cut straight with regular rulers...

You can print out instructions for the rulers from the website.
