Your quilt is beautiful. You did a great job of distributing fabrics!

I've made several large string quilts using Bonnie Hunter's patterns and love them all. Layout was always something of an issue, but I found if I made a couple of extra blocks, I always had one I could sub in for another to add diversity. Also found that the more fabrics I use, the happier I am with the finished product.

If you're not familiar with her work, Bonnie has a website w/blog (quiltville.com), many free patterns, and has published several books...String Fling and her latest, String Frenzy, are just string quilts...so many ways to put strings together . You said you're going to make more string quilts...you might enjoy this page of hers <http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/06/string-quilting-primer.html> with lots of tips and examples.

Again, I think your quilt is lovely...know you will love looking at it when it's finished and on your bed.
