Thanks! I actually prefer brights and autumn colors myself.

I can't say I don't like any color particularly but what I don't like is using white as the main color, like in the back ground of quilts.
Not to say they aren't pretty (some down right gorgeous) because I like lots of quilt others do with the white back ground but for me to do one like that will probably never happen.
Could it be that I'm a messy person and don't want it to show? Could be!
White just makes me feel like I've got to take a shower or something before I can touch it. LOL

I am learning to use all colors, as I applique a lot, and when you do flowers they call for a lot of the yellow, orange, greens. so I use what I have. God bless. Penny

I used to avoid pink and or blue like the plague. When I started a very small dyeing business I grew to appreciate what blue can to to enhance other colors. When my grandaughters were born I got a whole new attitude toward pink, still can't wear it though.

I just checked out the "Color Me Beautiful" wesite and I'm a "Spring" with bright colors. Funny the first few quilts I made were bright and I didn't know why I was drawn to them. See my avatar, made in the first year of quilting.

It has to be orange. In a scrappy it is OK but, not as one of the main color used. I think it is because I look horrid in orange.

Here is a block that will be a quilt one day, I have a bunch of them made and they include several of the colors that a lot of you dont like lol
    Love it.

I am currently working on a scrap quilt with a white back ground. I am working my way around the color wheel to get all colors. Of course I can choose the hues from my stash which means I can moderate a color any way I want. Quess I never met a color I didn't like!

I think it's funny that we, as a group, have named almost every color as not our favorites. We really truly are a rainbow coalition.
