This morning I started quilting the top I'm working on, but forgot to change my top thread to what I was using on the other dark sections of the quilt. Oh, well, I'll continue using the lighter thread until I start quilting the corners. I'll post a photo when I'm done with the corners.

Here is my latest project, taken entirely too long to complete. I ran out of the blue and light blue in the star blocks, so could only make 12 blocks. It was supposed to be a stash buster for charity, and as it turned out it busted 2 fabrics from my stash. I'm not a lover of flying geese or HSTs or QSTs. I don't like making them, but I love the outcome.

OK, I have the Irish Chain strips pressed and ready to cut. However, I got distracted and cut out the pieces for the Toy Story quilt next. So I think I'll start working on the 4 patch blocks next and then cut the IC strips to start assembling those blocks. I made stuffed shells and Pillsbury French bread for lunch. While that was cooking, I put together a tuna fish salad for supper and made no-bake cookies for DH's lunch next week. Of course, I don't know I they'll last that long! But now I should be able to quilt until supper. Glad to see there are several people working along with me. Everyone's projects looks great

Time for lunch and folding some laundry, a few more blocks finished so far. Have four more and one is paper piecing, ughhhhhhh. Then onto scrappy. Be back in a bit once lunch, dishes again, and laundry folded.

Masufa. I love this pattern. You have inspired me to pull of the container storing several units I have completed and did not get back to it. Beautiful job
