The borders are on my mini mountains quilt. It's cute and I'm anxious to get it quilted. Hoping I get my Bernina back this week. And I'll join in for Feb. 2. I should have some new goodies from Road to play with.

I spent my weekend finishing the hand quilting on a Broken Star quilt. I had it on the frame for 2 years and am happy to have it finished. Just have to bind it.

Made a decisiion on the back I got carried away with. Yep. It's another top. Dug out lg pieces of fabric and found one with enough fabric to be a back. Now I have permission to go for it for an art quilt.

    Yes! VQW on Supper Bowl.

No sewing today, field day the kitchen and living room. Maybe hand sewing tonight, but will work on finishing the blocks tomorrow. Will be here for the next VQW.

I made it to quilting group today! (They meet during the day and I went back to work, but I was able to make it since it was a holiday!) handed over my quilt tops to be sandwiched and long armed by other group members. I was able to select squares for more child/crib/lap size quilts as our local Project Linus asked us to make them smaller. I have 9 ready for assembly and took home a handful of additional squares (10x10) to make more when I am done.

I'm still learning, and this is all I've done so far. I haven't even made quilts for myself yet. I hope to progress with my skills in the next year.

Ok, looks like we'll have a Super Bowl Virtual Quilt Date.

rryder, I will try to get my UFO picture posted to the UFO Challenge thread later this week. There are eight of us who quilt at a local shop once a month and we decided to do this to get a few things done that have just been sitting around. All of us have completed our January goals so we're off to a great start.

I finished the three blocks so am caught up on BOMs. I pulled the fabric for one of the projects but didn't get fabric selected for the other one. But all in all, I feel like it was a very productive weekend here. I hope all of you had a good time and managed to get lots done.

See everyone back on the 2nd

I had a productive long weekend, I sewed more strips for my circa 1880 quilt blocks and joined a few of them together. I now have 50 blocks finished, with 650+ more to go. I really like these tiny blocks. They go together fast and they're so cute!

It's 5:00pm here. Just got the second back done, binding cut and all rolled together. My last goal was quilting the quilt on the frame. I can get ~ 3 hrs on it. Probably finish tomorrow. It's been the best finish so far.

One of the (many) projects I have going on right now is the Omigosh quilt which has lots of tiny blocks like circa 1880. Aren't they fun and satifying to make? I love working on it! Just have other projects with more urgent deadlines.
