I'm enjoying all the pretty quilts I'm seeing this weekend. It looks like a lot of us have been busy sewing & getting some much needed projects done. I have my table runner top completed & sandwiched together. I like the way it's turning out. Now for the hard part....deciding how I want to quilt it. That's always a difficult part for me. This runner measures 20" x 44" right now (without the binding). It was a kit that is on sale from Connecting Threads. Everything was included except the batting & backing. I did a blanket stitch around the appliqued snowflakes.

Jan, I'm so sorry about your finger. I hope it heals quickly.

I'm ready for the next 3 blocks. Greatly appreciate Pat Sloan & Jane Davidson for creating this project.
I'm going mine in groups because I prefer to see the work on the wall. Gpong to quilt Group 2 next.
Love, love that red and white runner!!

I'm going to join in tomorrow to finish quilting a baby quilt for my niece. I have had company all weekend. Yesterday would have been my 50th wedding anniversary. My husband died last year in March. My kids and grandkids came to stay with me, bought me roses and took me out to a nice dinner at a local bed and breakfast. Yummy! I have really enjoyed their company. My kids are wonderful! I couldn't have made it this last 18 months without them. I'll share my quilt picture as soon as I get it finished. Enjoy the rest of the VQW!

I love that red & white runner too! I've been saving up reds for a "some day" project because I just love the way red/white quilts look.

I've got 2 rows left to go, and I'm calling it a night. That one is way too complicated to deal with when I'm tired.
