I am a W & N gal. I have never had any problems with it in any way. Washes easily, particularly important for a baby quilt. Light weight but not too "fluffy" or bulky. I use it all of the time now and choose it over Quilters Dream. Just a personal choice.

Warn and Natural for me....either buy the yardage or pre-packaged.

Buying batting by the yard off a roll eliminates a lot of scrap pieces of batting!. I also like the idea of no hard set wrinkles. I would buy by the roll if I had room to store it. I think the quality is the same for packaged or off the roll regardless of the brand you choose.

I love warm and natural...I like the way it clings to cotton so that it is easy to line things up before pinning or spray basting...on small things like bags or wall hangings you can just iron it to the cotton with a little starch and it holds well enough to sew baste a couple of places. It is also very warm and gets very soft after a couple of washings. I get it on sale at Hancock's and that saves me a lot of money...also can get it at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon.

I get mine from Hancock. W & N is all cotton. I only buy when on sale & got a whole roll several months ago.

I always use warm and natural or warm and white. I bought some at 50% off at Joann last week. You can get quite a few lap or crib size out of 3 yards. If I get in in the package, I spray it with water mist and put in dryer for a few minutes. I went to local quilt shop before I bought the batting this time and looked at everything they sold. They honestly did not have anything I would have replaced W&N with. Still want to try the Hobbs that many quilter like.

I think you will be surprised that W & N is not 100% cotton. It has a polypropylene scrim- about 12%

I've only used W&N 100% cotton, bought by the bolt, 90" width. So, I can't speak for blends. If when needed, this is the most economical way I've found to purchase it. Usually ~40 yards at ~$5/yard. Good luck with your decision.

I am glad to hear that someone else had a bad experience with Quilter's dream White. I was so disappointed in it, it was so flimsy, like no body at all to it. I will stick with W and N. or Hobbs 80/20

I only use W&N, since I have storage issues, I purchase packaged W&N and then cut it for individual projects as I mostly make smaller projects.
