What are you making for Christmas gifts
#92
The grandkids are getting a small cuddle quilt and a copy of the Night Before Christmas. My visions of "sugar plums" will be dear grandkids wrapped up in their quilted Christmas quilt with Dad and Mom reading them the story.

The corn rice bags peak my interest . Can you tell me how to do those. My aunt has Rheumatoid Arthritis. I think she would love them.

I am planning on making covers for the square Kleenex boxes and embroider a snowman or snowflakes on them. They would be nice for small gifts. I think I better get started soon. Christmas will be here before I know it.

Bow Tucks totes, pillowcases, pincushions, table runners, mug rugs, ornaments, maybe a tree skirt or two, key fobs to go with the totes and some wallets and some kitchen towels, and pot holders and mitts, mostly small stuff, but things they can use, my MIL knits the dishcloths.

Just be sure to caution your recipients to test timing in the microwave to see what works for them. On my neck I only heat it for 1 minute, for my back I usually heat it up for 2 minutes. Putting a heated rice bag in between your sheets about 15 minutes before you crawl in, sure warms up a winter night! I know most of you are too hot right now to be thinking winter...

Got hooked on making felt donuts this year, for pin cushions. Made 20 as thank yous for our Linus Project quilt group and really enjoyed decorating them. Another good find on the QB, so think I will make a few for my other sewing friends.
