    1. double wedding ring
    2. quilts using family doilies and I've already done a practice one using cheapy $ store doilies. See attachment

This is for practice and it is pretty but so far it isn't hung even though I had purchased a rod to hang it on, affixed the sleeve to hang it. It was intended to hang above the bed. It's hanging on the headboard of the bed and would hange above it. I actually like it better on the foot of the bed as a bed runner. At the moment, I'm thinking on it.

I have several family doilies from my husband's family and would like to at least make a wall hanging for myself, daughter, and daughter in law or perhaps a nice quilt. Have many ideas but haven't tackled anything other than the practice wall hanging where I did learn a lot.

LOL. If you have completed one quilt then I totally agree with. The next quilt you do is big. Go for it.

A Baltimore Album in deep rich colors and a crazy quilt in soft peach and cream tones! Most of the work is applique on the Baltimore quilt - I just need the time to gather the right fabrics and patterns - then I can take my work with me.

There are so many! Right now I'd love to make a Dear Jane and there's one called Sea Urchins but I'm going to look up that Lakota Star one that someone mentioned.

Mine is Vintage Valentine by Vera Mosquera. I have the pattern which I bought from the USA (I live in the UK) but I have to find alternative fabrics.... then I need to put in a load of practice before I even thing of attempting this one.

    Hugs
