I have not been on here for so long I don't remember the last time. But I do the same thing with the blades. When I replace it it's like a miracle and I actually feel happy that it works. I buy my blades with the 50% off coupon at Joann's since they are so expensive. Like the razor blades you shave with. Too bad the don't sell those at Joann's.

When the table starts bowing from the pressure I use, I know that it is time to change the blade. I really should change more often, but, they are so darn expensive. I haven't tried the ones from the tool company yet.

Haha, yeah, why does it take me so long, even when I am at the point of "sawing" my fabric... Change the blade, cuts like butter! And then I have to watch myself, if I press too hard with my new blade, I've been known to slice my mat clear through!! By the way, Fiskars blades work on every one of my cutters, and cost a little less...

Thanks, Mad Madame Mimm - I'll have to try this!

you have many sisters & brothers here on the board.....
.......when I finally get around to changing it, I tell myself,
"never again am I going to wait"

and then when it becomes dull, I forget what I told myself.

    go figure !!!!!
