Oh, I simply have too many favorites. Before I started quilting, I loved to watch Alex Anderson and Eleanor Burns on TV. Once I began quilting, Jenny Doan was my favorite. I watch her videos every Friday. Now, I read the blogs of Bonnie Hunter and Pat Sloan. Among my favorites are Kimberly Einmo, Jenny Beyer, Edyta Sital, Amy Gibson, and Barb Eikmeier. I have learned so much about quilting from these talented ladies.

My favorite and the one that got me into quilting was Nancy Zieman, she is so talented, and then I added Jenny Doan to my favorite list. Great thread!!!

My fav is Nancy Zieman. She puts things in such a way that makes it very easy to learn. I have learned quite a bit watching her show and videos.

Marsha McCloskey is my favorite teacher. I took a week-long class from her before I had finished my first quilt. I usually end up crying in a class out of frustration... but not with her. She is wonderfully kind, calm, and reassuring... and low tech... yay! When she taught a class within 50 miles of me, I signed up as a member of that guild just so I could take another one of her classes.

But I'm really star struck by Scharon Schamber. If she were teaching any class near me, I would sign up for it even if I wasn't interested in what she was teaching. I'd spend the entire class staring at her with an open mouth. I saw a display of her quilts at a show once. I could have stared at them all day. What talent!

Jenny Doan for me I love her tutorials and ideas that she presents in such a fun way.

She has my vote for favorite. I love EB's quilts but don't like to listen to her.

I was fortunate enough to to attend one of Jenny Doan's lectures and she was amazing! Her stories of about her family were so heartwarming and her quilts were beautiful! I came away feeling like I had just had a long visit with a good friend. Love and admire that lady!
I also love Leah Day. I have taken one of her online classes called Building Blocks and learned so much about free motion quilting on a domestic machine!
