I need to make 9 bow tuck totes and so far I have 3 1/2 done. They go really fast and I think I will make it. I an hooked on making them. It is fun to find fabrics that go together and yet might be different.

Ugh!!! Someone take that counter away from craftybear![/quote]

    Yes, please!

After spending two weekends sick (not to mention missing work 3 days), and being out of town for a wedding plus too many other commitments, I am so far behind that I will never get caught up. Now my niece is getting married Dec.12th, there is a shower for her in a couple of weeks, and I am supposed to go out of town with DH the last weekend of October.

    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!! !

Hi Gals and Guys, Christmas is comming up fast behind me. I have finally started my place mats for my ladies poker club. A few years ago I made them place mats with dogs playing poker and smoke. Well all of us but one has quit smoking and she just has one when she has a drink in the evening. But to make a long story short they dogs and cards were on dark green material. I don't like green very much and I am tired of seeing these placemats at every poker party but mine. I forgot to make me a set. So I found Jim Shore's Royal Family. I found it in embroidery in a 5 X 7 size. with beads. But at $16 a card. 6 cards X 6 people gets the cost up a little. So I am browsing the online fabric stores. I find Jim Shore in panels. 10 3/8 x 8 1/4. So I figure I want to make the place mat about 17 X 21 So I do my math. Well I only ordered 1 yard of the strip material that matches the colors in the cards which are a light blue, red, black, some green anyway mostly pastel.I also got one yard on the light blue. Now I am finding out that those two yards are just going to be enough to do 6 place mats maybe, if I stop making mistakes. So I have to order some more material and hope that they haven't run out. But Christmas is coming and we better hurry up and decide what we are going to do. I still have my very large family to take care of. Thanks for listening. Henri
