What a silly question. How do you expect us to get all our swaps done? LOL

I am almost done with a set of embroidered blocks and I have worked a little on handquilting but spending more time on here than I probably should.

I am also making plans for my niece's welcome home from Afghanistan party. Thank you to all who have served and are serving to make our country free.

We celebrated yesterday - so today I have just finished sandwiching a quilt with 505 spray basting! I will then start to FMQ it. It is a Wickedly Easy Queen size for niece in VA it is the second of eight quilts for family there, all the tops are done.

Just finished my 12 inch square for my calendar holder; next up charity quilt. Boys in pool; DH has taken them over for day - he wants me to do whatever I want today - that would be sewing. In fairness - my conscious won't allow me to do only that so I'm on my third load of laundry. And later I do have to do the groceries and get ready for the work week ahead!

    Happy 4th!

    God Bless America!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA!

Yes, I moved my little laptop into the bedroom I sew in and have the windows open with the wind blowing in. (we don't have ac) and I am going to finish my 4th of July placemats for the family today. they are just made from scraps of patreotic? fab, but kind of the first thing I haven't had a pattern for. just strips sewed together...but I am going to finish it today. Have a great day. Living in the land of the free because of the brave!

Had to work last night. Bleh. But it pays for more fabric!!! And I have spent most of the day sleeping. Ugh. If I wake up enough, I am going to work on a Christmas quilt.
