Oh my goodness, it's much too soon for cold like that! We've had it down in the 40s a couple nights and complained!!! At least its still mostly in the 80s for the high. You're having January/February weather. Can you tell I don't like cold??? The two years we were in Guam was my perfect climate - upper 60s/low 70s at night, 80s in the daytime. Of course we were a gazillion miles from nowhere too. Lol!

They were fun to do and all from stash. Yea me!!!

I had made a table runner similar to the fall side, but wanted to try it with different widths of strips and really liked how it looked. Then I just started playing with the snowman fabrics till I came up with something the same dimensions that "looked right". Lol!

Was going to do placemats for the girls too but in order to use the size blocks needed to showcase the fairies it worked better to do the wall hanging/doll quilt.

    Glad you like them!

how cute! what a creative use of your variety of fabrics! love the snowman one but then again I am a fall person so perhaps I love that one more.. and my grandchild would love the fairy mat. she is all about fairies and princess's. remember those days girls? when we believed in wonderful things like that.. how magical that was. thanks for the memory mom6. AND 60 as a low is comfortable? OMG I cant sleep well unless its in the 40's and ideally not higher than 50. I love a high 60 to a low 70's day. That is a wonderful weather day for el brat. I sleep now with the window open still and heater off. Cold air equals grand sleep. just snuggle under that down blanket lower and lower but keep the arm out and the nose cold.. happy days! good thing I don't live in Texas. I visit there once. In April. San Antonio .... oh heck no. way too hot and sticky!! come on up to Wyoming and enjoy the nice dry cold!

OK now, still haven't heard from 2 people. If you haven't shipped or received yet, please inbox me with how things stand with your partner so I can be sure everyone is OK.
