I'm sorry you got it, Hav4boys, but I'm really glad you are getting over it!

I haven't received any ornament package yet. There is still two days left for the mail to get here before opening day, so fingers crossed!

NZquilter, thanks for the reminder! Dec. 1st is right around the corner -- so close I would have missed it!

Do we have an Opening Time or just when we want to open and then post photos?

We are camping until Monday. Nice to get away with the kids and grands. I have not received yet either. Hope everything is ok.

Oh no! I hope you are feeling stronger and better each day and soon can put this nasty virus behind you like it never existed to begin with. We are living in such sad times and so many are angry. Maybe more people need to turn off the tv and find a hobby like quilting.

Am I becomming old and grumpy ???????..........I am amazed to see so little posting on this thread this year. Has Christmas lost its excitement. Usually by this time there has been a lot more posts and pictures of what everyone is up to. Please don't let the joy of sharing ideas diminish.

Opening day tomorrow so hopefully there will be some good news posting and nice pictures of ornaments made.

Lynnie, The international postage costs are horrific. I sent mine in a pre paid postage sachet which cost $24.00 Aus / $17.72 US. Our dollar is approx 2/3 rds of the US dollar. The ornament swap I received cost $54.10 US to send which equates to $73.27 Australian. I was absolutely shocked that it cost the sender so much to send an ornament. The postage costs are making international swaping almost not viable.

I was getting concerned that maybe my partner hadn't received my swap so I just checked on the Australia Post Tracking site and saw the info below, so I can rest easy now nowing that my swap arrived at its destination.

I wish there was more posting going on too. I also think a lot of us haven't received our ornaments, which can be a bit disheartening.

I've made a few extra ornaments for the family this year. I also made two of the ornaments that I swapped out, one set to gift and one to keep, but they aren't included in this photo.
