Lstew2212, I apologize but the pkg I mailed to you about a week ago came back to me due to insufficient postage. It will now be late. It will go back in the mail on Monday. Again, my apologies...

I have heard about the women in Stockbridge...I need to make a road trip there too! I actually have 2 quilts ready to be quilted!

I want to clear my "work work" so I can quilt Friday night, Sunday and on Thanksgiving week-end. One of my quilts from last year's treats is due back to me this week from the long arm quilter, so I will have some binding to do while I enjoy the weather from the comfort of my home. (Barb, The long arm quilter I am using is in Stockbridge, MI and just moved from Dexter. Not too terribly far from your part of the mitten. I made the trip because she has a good reputation and will mail back my piece in... get this, two weeks!)

I am so enjoying hearing about everyone's plans for their little treats. I have absolutely no idea what I will do with them but come January, they will fall into a big pile and be made into something warm to snuggle under.

    Hello everyone!
    Lots of news.....
    1. my father has come home from rehab. I am feeling a double edge sword here. He came home to my 87 year old mom. It is too much for her to care for him. Time will tell. My sisters and I are helping as much as possible.

    2. I will send out the December birthday babies.... sorry a little late = we have 3 December babies..Nurse Bonnie being on Dec 1.

    3. Billiejean will not be part of our swap so I will send out her packages for the last 3 months.

    4. Hate to even mention this but I have ran into some of my own health problems. Last week I had an "episode" called Nystagmus. It is when your eyes move back and forth uncontrollably. Afterwards I had a really bad headache. The headache has lasted about a week, sometimes it is really bad and I have to take meds that make me dizzy. I can't drive right now until they find out what is going on. I have had the Nystagmus episodes happen 3 more times. But none as bad as the first. So I have had MRI, CAT scan, blood work and seen a Opthamalogist. They have found blood behind my eyes. Next week I have two more appointments both with Neuro-Opthamalogist. I have not been online very much because it is hard to see (only sometimes). I am sure everything will be fine....just one of those bumps life gives us!

    I will post addresses Sunday.
    Barb

    Barb,
I can't help thinking how much stress you're under and it's attributing to your health issues. I feel horrible and have been worried for you. It's so difficult when our parents old age health worsen and worsen and worsen. My sweet MotherInLaw was 89 when my FatherInLaw couldn't care for himself. I hope all your doctors get to the bottom of your problem. And I hope others do pitch in with your patents. You will continue to stay in my prayers. Wish I were closer!!!
    Big Quilty hugs!

benndm thanks for my wonderful candy and mouse ornament(?). I have had to take it from my Samson twice. What is it stuffed with? Just want to make sure there is nothing toxic to kitties just in case he finds it again.

So sorry to hear of your problems, Barb! You do need to slow down and take care of yourself. If there is anything I can help you with, swap-wise, I would be more than happy to. Just let me know! You will be in my prayers. Praying the eye condition is only temporary.
