I am doing a color fading into the next color quilt (I don't really know what to call it) with most of the squares. I've gotten a lot more since I took this pic and am able to fill in the colors better. This is only the top half.

Mrshalibut I love your faded layout. I would love to try to make one but I think I need a big design wall which I don't have. Maybe some day. I'll add it to the list. Be sure to show us the finished quilt top.

Thank you benndm, I will. I don't have a big wall either. I just put it on the floor, which is tricky because I have cats. Anyone who has cats knows they run and then slide through all the blocks, fight with each other on the blocks, roll on the blocks and then run away with some of the blocks stuck to their fur. I find them all over the house. I have to work fast!

That's my problem too... no design wall. For the AR Xroads quilt I'm working on I have to trot up and down the stairs to lay it out on a spare bed! I've made lots of trips up and down. At least I'm burning some good calories, LOL.
