WB Hav4boys. So glad to see that the mail service worked! Are you going to open now or wait? Happy Birthday in advance :-)

Love the 9 patch rainbow quilt, WMUTeach!

and gotta love any opportunity to learn, Kristijoy.

Happy Fourth of July everyone! I'm heading out of town and will disappear until Wednesday or Thursday. I've brought some blocks and quilt as you go projects with me. Hopefully, I'll get something pieced while I'm gone. Cheers!

Isn't it grand to be able to make plans this summer! Enjoy your time away ibex94 and the same to others who will be celebrating at home, around the corner or on the road to friends and family. I will be following along with the July Virtual Quilt Weekend and have plans to quilt a UFO, get the binding on and to set it aside for donation. Also making medium sized Christmas stockings for donation to the local VA. A good long weekends worth of pleasurable "work".

Hopefully everyone here has had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. We went to an air show in Kansas City on Saturday and saw USAF Thunderbirds preform. That was seriously impressive and loud! I'm glad I brought hearing protection for the girls. Then on Sunday we went up to the in-laws place for kiddies poppers and crackers and a BBQ. It was a lovely day. No sewing this weekend, but I don't mind. We got a lot of quality family fun and memories in.

Sounds like a great weekend, NZQuilter! I'm sure your kids saw lots of new things. Did they have some planes open for them to sit in? I remember taking our kids to an air show a few times. They loved it and one son grew up to get his pilot's license himself. Lots of fun at those shows.

How much fun was that, NZ.! So glad you had a wonderful time with family and the Thunderbirds. Quilting may be our passion but family is more, much more, important.
