Oh, I love that one, NZQ! Here is the one Givio made. It swallows up this bed, hanging nearly to the floor on either side! The second photo shows Giv's collection of GFG blocks that she passed on to me. And the last shot is the dress I just finished for GD#1, Millie.

Finally, I have a photo of my 2021 Birthday Swap quilt. I finished the binding a couple of weeks ago and was waiting for a sunny day to take photo but just gave up.. Michigan just is not a sunny winter place. Now, I am looking for another pattern to use for this year's swap

Just less than 400 happy little squares in this quilt! Yeah!

That's beautiful, WMUT. I love how the 16 patches each have their own little theme.

Sewbiz- Those are wonderful pics. I love the GFG pieces. I've been working on one for 15 years. I pick it up and then abandon it for a while.

Losing Givio is so sad. Thank goodness she has left her art behind so we can have her near us as needed. WMUteach, that quilt is beautiful! Only 400 candies means you have another quilt to make with the 2021 candies, right? How big is your candy stash?

ibex94, I don't even try to count my stash. Somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 on any given month. I cut any scraps from other quilts and add to my boxes of 2.5s all the time, so the amount changes often. I have 8, 13X9 plastic boxes that I picked up from the dollar store to store my 2.5s by color. Currently some colors are low, red because of an unfinished valentine quilt, while other colors are rather abundant. I try to use at least as many as I get each year. Just for fun I am tracking the number I use in 2022 because I am curious how many I use.

I just sent out the March Birthday info. If you did not get it, let me know and I will resend the message to you. Whoo-Hoo! It is time to make the cake and toss the confetti!

Got birthday info. Thank you! And that is a lot of candies! Kudos to you for keeping it so well organized. Looks like I have a dollar store trip in my future for bins.

Givio's quilts are both a labor of love. I'm glad her quilts got handed onto someone who appreciates them and honors her through them. Your little dress for your granddaughter is darling! You choose such sweet fabrics for your babies' dresses!
