2022 - 2.5" Birthday Swap
#271

Loveofquilts, I did enjoy your 'book'! It was good to hear what you've been doing. Sorry you've been sick but it sounds like you are on the mend finally. Any flu sucks!
Your string blocks and baby windmills sound interesting. Your bag, too. Can you share some pics with us? It's a long time between birthdays some months, so we need to get this group chatting.
What's everyone been up to?
I've been working on Givio's quilts, mostly. Finishing them to send to her family. She had a lot of UFOs, several were almost done. All needed quilting. I am on #3.... I also had 5 family birthdays between January and April 1. I sew for all of them, so I've been busy making gifts too, around the quilting.

OMG Loveofquilts I'm exhausted just reading your post. 😁 Do you sleep? Best of luck on your rehab, some of my friends who had the original COVID are still dealing with side effects , milder, though still aggravating. I also like to use my scraps and make different blocks and then when I have enough i will put them together.
Nzquilter, sorry you have been under the weather. Same thing happened to my daughter and the 4 grands several weeks ago. Seems it's been going around.
started cutting up the tupperware of scraps, but gave it a break. I'm going to leave all the solids for later, until I know what I want to do. So tonight as I watch you tubes, cause I'm not a fan of tv, I'm sitting and sewing hexies with some of the recent cut up scraps. Going to try to plant my garden this weekend. Held it off due to heavy winds and cold fronts.
