    Hehe yea my boy is hyper and friendly too but my family is too dense to get scared out. I like all the fabrics being posted.

    Omg this was the longest day eevverrrrr. Midnight would not come soon enough haha. But I sat with the most adorable gay black guy that told me all about the drama with his other gay friends. It's hilarious. he's like 28 and ONLY listens to music from the 50's and 60's and he had so much energy he was just vibrating. So the whole time I was trying to do the work while he watched, he couldn't sit still, so we worked out a system where I checked the files and he ran the computer, so that helped. His favorite person is Barbara Streisand. So funny. I love him to bits. I am liking most of the people at this job. So at least I had good company for the longest day ever.

    I was pretty concerned that I wouldn't make it home on the amount of gas I had so I knew in one account I had $4 and I tried to use that card, and it said no.. I was like.. well poo maybe I don't have $4, tried to call and it tried to give me to a banker.. I was like.. oh god I don't have time for this shiznit.. I knew I had $5 on another card so I went in to use that then came back and called about the other card.. And was finally told they deactivated my card cause one night a couple weeks ago I was trying to buy something for my BF but I needed it to attach to his account and so I couldn't enter the numbers, so he kept screwing it up and it locked up my card and they called and I verified yes it was me and all that, so why did they deactivate my card.. grrr.. And they didn't TELL me.. in no way whatsoever.. That's annoying. I'm like, I work for you people, stop doing that stuff to me. Bout ready to get a new bank but they do have their uses.

    So I made it home. Grabbed the mommy so she could come over and we unearthed my kitchen and cleaned out my fridge and did up almost all the rest of my dishes ready for tomorrow. Let my dog out and he didn't even care that Grandma was here, he wanted his dinner. haha He needs a bath before people come but I kinda don't care anymore. I suppose I should go to bed

    Yay naked turtles!

    Good morning fellow toppers/runners I just turned the oven down to 350 for the next 45 minute while I wait for the pumpkin pie to bake - yum. It's the simplest pie in the world to make and it mixes up so quickly. I'm grateful to the Pillsbury company for coming up with the ready to bake pie crust found in the cold case at the grocery store - took me only ten minutes to get both pies in the oven.

    I posted the following on another thread this morning and wished to share with you.

    I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.
    If you're traveling to have dinner with friends or family be safe on the roads.
    Remember to reflect on the important things in life and what matters most;
    I'm grateful for my friends and family whether I've known them a life time or
    in fragments of time while passing through our busy days.

    Happy Thanksgiving to all you fellow threaders if you're celebrating today.

    I looked at y clock its 6:40 and your cooking already? omg. What a long day that would be. Then I realized your probably east of me, most of you are seeing as I live in CA. a DUH moment taking a bow thank you. But regardless yoru on top of the game and the house must smell amazing ALREADY. I am making a rib roast probably put it on at 10 or 11 am. make some smashed potatos and I am golden. Bag of salad, oh crud need a caeser salad dressing recipe that is tried and true anyone have one send it in Pm to me. I hate guinea pigging it for something special. agh!

    HAPPY TURKEY DAY everyone. I wonder if that fabric can be divided 10 ways so I can send table runnes to all of you.

    I am thankful for everything these days. I love this board and the ladies I am meeting on it. The support, the laughter and the sharing of 'life' we do with each other. A special group to be sure quilters. We get each other so wonderfully THANK you everyone for making this a great place to come.

    Anastasia, I am glad you got home. I think a whole bunch of us have been in your shoes before. It happens. Cruddy though when it does. Look it as a great excuse to not have to go out for errands or shop on black friday. shuttering at the thought of a store with lines of people pushing to get in. To those who do it, enjoy to those who dont yahoo I am not alone. egad that is not a good image. wiping it clean of my plate. schwing! gone.

    Huh... well.. I got a whopping 4 hours of sleep and got up to put this GIGANTIC 22lb turkey in.. then I gave the dog a bath.. Course that means he's now shedding everywhere. We're supposed to eat at 1 (who's idea is that?! my mom told everyone 1). I don't think this turkey is going to cook by then. haha. Definitely not. hahaha. I think we put it in at 9:30.. haha. Ohwell. I'm always too broke to shop and don't deal with crowds so no black friday crowds..
