Faintly, I think your wonderful feedback score speaks volumes of your abilities. If not, I happily refer you to the swap!

I have been having a lot of fun this month going to the mailbox each day to see how many Candy packages I have. So far I have received 18. From:
Kele, Juanita Bean, Sunrise 450, Deborah in NY, Hav4boys, OldCatLady, Jaba, LuciaLPL, Crispy-frog, Nelco, Moonrise, Janice McC, JaneQuilter, Barbar Kibler, TravelingGramma, DJmat,WMU Teach, and MizMelly.

Thank You all! I can't wait to open them all. Don't knwo when that will be, even though my birthday in the 14th. ON the 12th I leave to go to my daughter's at Rapid City *8 hours away). Then wedding dress shopping for her on the 13th. Then the 14th (my birthday), I am spending 9 hours driving to a Quilt Retreat to be at that afternoon until the 17th. Then have to work the rest of that week. But until then, I will be watching my mailbox for the rest of the candy packages! Just don't worry if I don't post when I receive each package cause I don't get much computer time. I will try to post on Thursday night since I am leaving on Friday morning for almost a week.

    Hello ladies...
hope everyone is well and staying warm.

Here in Michigan pretty much everyone is sick. My entire family ended up with a cold (some I think might have had the flu) shared with us from my Cincinnati brother. So I have been sick since New Years eve. Feeling much better now and did not get pneumonia ! YEAH

However I did recuperate last weekend at a scrapbook crop/ quilting retreat. I also kept good care of myself by not staying up real late but sleeping in late. Also did my breathing treatment every 4 hours that I was awake. Took all my drugs which make me feel dizzy and got a massage! YES!

Here is what I have been working on at the retreat( and before)

with my candy squares and every square represents one of you!

So what you are looking at is my attempt to "Quilt as you go". So far I only have 3 squares attached to each other. With many squares in different stages of being done. This is a terrific candy buster.

someday I will show the whole thing!

That's going to be lovely Barb! My quilt as you go turned out a big mess, will try it again sometime. I think I was in to much of a hurry and just wanted it done so you can imagine the outcome of that.....not good

I have a question... for next year is it okay to pick a theme for my candies? For example... red and white and have all fabrics that fall into that category? Or all batiks? Would you be disappointed if you received candies like that. I think it would be fun to do a theme of forest... all colors of a forest and materials with that theme. Just a thought and looking for input.

I would be fine with someone doing a theme with their candies. Mine are a mis-mash of everything since I was doing scrap busting. Variety is a wonderful thing!
