Happy Saturday. . Here are some 60 plus 4-patches I made from the off-sized squares I have.

About half are “oops” squares I cut through the years or scraps I put together. I made the patches and then cut them down to 4 inches. No squares I receive ever go to waste, even the smallish ones that make it in with the perfect candy squares. Exactly what they’ll be is up in the air because I’ve still got tons of scraps and small pieces yet to work on. But I thought I’d show you what I do with some of my candies that don’t quite make the cut into other quilts.

Guess what I found Armyllady2012. I guess your squishie like being in my fabric cabinet, were it was nice and warm. Sorry for the this miss. So this is an updated list, (I'm just adding to my other list). I'll post a complete list when I get the last candy.

If my adding adds up, I'm just waiting for 1 more. Yea. Thank-you ladies for all of the candy and cards (which I will open and sort on my Birthday. I have 2-3 projects I want to make with this years and previous years candy. I'll post pics of my completed projects then.

WMU Tech, Your blacks were a welcome addition, as I am short on darks for my center diagonal line.

Here's another picture of 4 more blocks. I'm setting them 'checkerboard' pattern.

WMUtech, That's a cute setting for candies! Janice McC, It would be a way to use your 4patches if you want. :-) I've already started my pattern with the candies, so plowing ahead with my idea. I need 36 blocks for a 6 x 6 layout, and I'll add a border to that. Sunrise450, yes, I'll remember this birthday as a special one for sure, because I'm planning to keep the quilt that I'm working on with the candies and it will be my reminder. :-)
