We will work with what we get right!? We just have to look a little harder for the right block to make it work. I have a few of the Jinny Beyer blocks I want to work up with fabric and the 9x22 will work for hers.
Ok, I think I am going to do one swap with some Christmas fabric that I have on hand to make for my daughter in Denver. She does not have any Christmas quilts, and the other girls have nabbed all the ones we have right now for when they move out, time to get her some. For the other small group, I need to figure out which bunch of fabric to cut up. Maybe do just black like Nexxus did in Boom 8. But, would have to be put with some bright fabrics and then I can quilt with some yummy birght varigated thread.

I have several patterns by Jinny but Im too chicken to try them! They are beautiful to say the least! I need to take a class in paper piecing or else just give it up all together...cant seem to get the hang of it. Love to see the beautiful blocks people make when paper piecing!

Do you still have room. I would like to join a small slow group. I'm fairly new at quilting, but this sounds like a lot of fun.

Joan, I agree with you, did you see the snowflake block I made for quiltingmommy in Boom 9? It's in my album. I am so proud of that block but I am very embarrassed to say it took me hours and hours and hours to make. LOL! I would never get anything else done. One day I'm going to master paper piecing, yes I am!

Default My fabric...might be a challenge.

Here is the fabric you will be getting from me. Since it is not all the same I was thinking of sashing it either in white or black. This will be interesting!

Those are pretty shadowirish, I would look more into a brown, cream, or tan that blends nicely with a pop of black as cornerstones. Depends on what we all do the blocks in. That looks nice to work with. I definetly have colors in my stash for those fabrics.

Oh lovely! Oddly enough I might have something to add to this. Just bring it on and send it. I have a lot of different fabrics and seem to find ways to make it work.
