I thought for sure that I would get at least one more set done, but that may not happen. Life's been crazy busy...in a good way, but still...I did buy some super cute fabric that I might be able to sew up this next week...otherwise...just the one set for me. I'm impressed with those of you who're doing lots of sets and even working ahead! Bravo!!

Metallics are fine. They're beautiful, aren't they?

I sent the civil war blocks. Some of them had darker shirtings on them. I hope they will be okay. If not I'll take them back. Going to work on the batiks and black assignment now. I just love these little blocks!

Oh, metallic in Asian fabric looks so... appropriate. :-) Love it!

Quilt Lover Grandma, I love these little blocks too! And it's an easy 2 1/2" border strip that makes them into 12" blocks for more possibilities. :-)

Good to know all the possibilities of how to use the blocks. Thanks for the info! Any other ideas?

Quilt Lover Grandma, here is a way you can set a quilt top with just 12 blocks (2 D4P sets). I saved the picture because I thought it looked super. It sorta looks like it could have been made with Civil War prints.

(PS. Note that the blocks were made by trading the green and pink prints between 2 blocks, instead of making turning and sewing only one block at a time. An interesting twist! It might confuse some people if they don't see it right away...)
